In 2010 JML CORPORATION with our England partner were asked to design the lighting for a new, modern sports bar and pool hall in Dover, Kent. The building is a beautiful old brick cavernous building used by the old local brewery for their hops & barley. It had been converted to a snooker hall and bar many years ago but had run into disrepair. The new owners wanted a modern, futuristic styled younger pool hall and sports bar.

We used 100% lighting technology for both the interior and exterior of the building. The interior used a series of linear LED details built into the bonquet seating, supplemented with discreet LED downlights. The pool tables were lit using 1200x300mm edge lit LED panels, reducing the visual obstruction in the space and providing perfect light distribution & light levels directly onto the tables. The bar design incorporated concealed LED strips within the ceiling and counter face.
